Information Technology Specialist

Peninsula Agency on Aging (PAA) is currently seeking an individual to serve as the Information Technology (IT) Specialist to provide support to agency staff and System Administrators to ensure PAA IT systems are flexible, functional, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Specialist, you will play a vital role in performing basic problem solving and providing assistance for agency IT system users on all PAA IT platforms including hardware, software, mobile devices, and telecommunication systems.  You will assist with the inventory of all IT equipment, software, and licenses and proper disposition of systems.  When new systems are available, you will prepare them for use by coordinating with PAA System Administrators to ensure systems are configured, all peripherals are functional, and will train the end user.


Essential Skills and Experience

We are looking for applicants who have education and/or experience equivalent to Associate’s Degree, with concentration in computer science, information technology, or a related field.  A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, IT Helpdesk certifications or training preferred, knowledge of computer hardware and software, Microsoft Office products, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Part Time:  M-F, 30 – 35 hours a week - Hourly Rate:  $18.06 + benefits
